Three K.J. Thurgood photos were recently requested by The Wasatch Journal. The Wasatch Journal is based at 357 South 200 East in Salt Lake City, Wasatch Journal is a wholly owned subsidiary of First Tracks Publications, a multimedia corporation that also owns the highly lauded Big Sky Journal, Tahoe Quarterly, and Western Art & Architecture. This is exciting because The Wasatch Journal contains stories and images that celebrate Utah’s arts, culture, and outdoors (things K.J. has been involved with his entire life). As soon as everything is finalized we will post the photos they selected here so you can see which ones were chosen.
If you’re interested, you can pick up the latest issue of the Wasatch Journal at bookstores and newsstands in Utah and nationally.
We decided to post the top 10 K.J. Thurgood photos off of his Flickr account. These 10 photos are available for purchase in Blue Creek’s online store.
Troy Latham, President of Blue Creek Media Group will now be representing K.J. Thurgood. Troy has committed Blue Creek Media Group to create and maintain this website so all of you can view and purchase my photographs, wood carvings and bronze sculptures online. I am excited about working with Troy and his staff.
I will be joining naturalist and author, Bill Fenimore at the Wild Bird Center, in Layton, Utah, for an exhibition of both our works. Bill will be signing his newly released “Backyard Bird Guide” series for Utah, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York and California. I will be working on my newest bronze sculpture. It has come a long way since the video on my home page. I look forward to hopefully meeting some of you!
